Based in Monon, IN the Director of Manufacturing will have the responsibility to manage two plants, Monon, IN and Trenton, GA, providing strategic leadership and operational guidance to the manufacturing team. The Director of Manufacturing will work as a member of the company management team toward both daily and long-term planning and execution. The Director of Manufacturing must be able to display the commitment, focus and loyalty required for the company’s continuous efforts to “Get Better!”
A strong background in manufacturing is required. The ideal candidate will have experience in semi-trailer production or some aspect of the transportation equipment industry.

A deep understanding of production processes, plant organization and quality control
The ability to provide strategic direction and leadership to the manufacturing team, both day to day and long term

A strong focus on worker safety and safety regulations compliance
An understanding of cost control and financial responsibility
The ability to function cooperatively and effectively with the company management team
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Prefer minimum of a Bachler’s Degree in Business Management or equivalent years of proven experience
5+ years’ experience in Operational Production Management position
5+ years’ experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
OSHA certification preferred
Proficient in Office Products and Windows operating systems
