Adecco is hiring a Boutique Construction Manager for a leading global espresso and coffee company who's passion and commitment to making the finest quality coffee inspires them to do and be our best. . We are seeking an experienced and polished Construction Manager to oversee our projects and project managers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and professionalism.



Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Oversight: Serve as the overarching manager for two project managers (PMs), providing strong leadership and guidance to ensure successful project execution.
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of boutique retail construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop PMs, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. Lead with intentionality, focusing on building and enhancing the skills of your team.
  • Design and Architecture: Collaborate closely with design and architecture teams to ensure projects align with aesthetic and functional requirements. Bring expertise in US construction codes, bills, and millwork.
  • Retail Construction Expertise: Leverage extensive experience in retail construction, emphasizing boutique projects rather than large-scale big-box stores.
  • Code Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with relevant US construction codes and standards. International code experience is a significant plus.
  • Project Coordination: Manage a portfolio of 11 projects scheduled for this year. Travel as needed, typically in two-week chunks for project handoffs and critical oversight.
  • Professionalism: Maintain a high level of polish and professionalism in all interactions, representing the company positively to clients, stakeholders, and team members.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management, with a strong emphasis on retail construction and team leadership.
  • Proven track record of managing and developing project managers and construction teams.
  • Extensive experience in boutique retail construction projects, including design and architecture collaboration.
  • Deep understanding of US construction codes, bills, and millwork. International code knowledge is a plus.
  • Exceptional polish and professionalism in managing projects, teams, and client relationships.
  • Willingness and ability to travel for project oversight, typically in two-week segments for handoff and critical project phases.
