Director of IT Security

Resource 1 is seeking a Director of IT Security for our client in Fort Worth, TX. This crucial role requires the ideal candidate to possess a deep understanding of Information Security, experience developing new security policies and procedures, overseeing compliance audits, and familiarity with modern security tools. Although this is a Director-level position, we require someone who will be hands-on, highlighting the significance of this role within the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive information security strategy and lead the overall development of the IT Security Roadmap.
• Update and create security policies, procedures, and controls.
• Oversee compliance audits and collaborate closely with the audit team.
• Work with other directors and stakeholders to integrate security into business processes and initiatives.
• Identify, assess, and prioritize information security risks, and develop strategies to mitigate these risks.
• Develop and enforce security requirements and agreements for external partners.
• Manage vendor relationships.
• Administer and manage the overall cybersecurity program.
• Communicate professionally with leadership and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of overall experience, including 5+ years in security management.
• Hands-on experience with various security areas, such as network security and incident response.
• Information security certification required (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+).
• Experience working in high-security industries (e.g., healthcare, finance).
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as HIPAA, NIST, SOX.
• Experience with Microsoft security tools.
• Ability to communicate professionally with leadership and stakeholders
• ANY EXPERIENCE IN AVIATION OR HEALTHCARE IS A PLUS

This position is full-time, with benefits and bonuses. Salary ranges from $170-$190K annually.
