Director of Finance And Accounting

Pugh Executive Search seeks a HANDS ON Director of Accounting and Finance reporting to the CFO of a Business Services Company located in Carrollton. This individual will manage the accounting, finance, and reporting functions of this Private Equity backed company with ~ $100M in revenue. This position will ensure the safeguarding of assets, accuracy and timeliness of reporting, and keeping leadership and outside entities abreast of the financial picture at all times. This person will lead process improvements, system implementations, and help create efficiencies to ensure controls are in place. To be considered for this role, we are looking for the following:

• Active CPA (required) with an MBA in Finance (+)
• 10+ years of progressive experience in Accounting and Finance
• Prior experience as an Auditor with a National Accounting Firm (ie GT, BDO, Big 4)
• Several years in producing consolidated financial reports and accounting for the Business Services, Construction, or Manufacturing Industry
• Prior Private Equity partner reporting
• Experienced in financial modeling and performing due diligence procedures
• Experienced in purchase accounting and g/l integration
• Have set up the financial process, implemented best practices, developed Financial Reporting templates and KPI dashboards
• Experienced in identifying top talent, hiring, training, and mentoring
• Very experienced with Sage Intacct, NetSuite, MS Great Plains, or similar midsize ERP systems
• Willing to work onsite 4 days/week as to collaborate more effectively with the CSuite and other members of the organization
