Job Overview
As the Food & Beverage Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and elevating the entire food and beverage department. This role requires a strategic leader who can drive culinary excellence, manage restaurant operations, and create a memorable dining experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will have a strong culinary background, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding hospitality.
Responsibilities
Culinary Leadership:
Develop and execute innovative and high-quality menus that align with market trends and customer preferences.
Ensure consistency in food quality, presentation, and taste across all outlets.
Operational Management
Oversee the day-to-day operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurants, bars, and catering services.
Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and financial performance.
Team Leadership
Recruit, train, and mentor culinary and service staff.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to maximize team performance.
Customer Experience
Focus on creating a memorable dining experience for guests by maintaining high service standards.
Respond to customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance guest satisfaction.
Vendor Relationships
Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure quality and cost-effective sourcing of ingredients and supplies.
Compliance And Safety
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards.
Implement and enforce proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Food & Beverage Director or similar role in the hospitality industry.
Culinary degree or equivalent experience in food and beverage management.
Strong knowledge of culinary trends, food preparation, and presentation.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills.
Excellent financial acumen and budget management experience.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in food and beverage management.
