Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events and trade shows that align with our strategic goals. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating memorable experiences.


Key Responsibilities:


Event Strategy and Planning:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive event strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
  • Identify and secure event venues, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships with vendors and partners.
  • Create detailed event plans and exhibit floor plans, including budgets, timelines, and logistics.


Event Execution:

  • Oversee the execution of all events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet high standards.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including marketing and sales, to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Manage event staff and volunteers, providing clear direction and support.


Content and Programming:

  • Develop event content and programming that attracts and engages our target audience.
  • Identify and secure high-profile speakers, moderators, and panelists.


Marketing and Promotion:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement event promotion strategies, audience and exhibitor marketing.
  • Ensure all event materials and communications align with the company’s brand and messaging.
  • Track and analyze event performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.


Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring events are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Track expenses and negotiate with vendors to achieve cost savings.


Post-Event Analysis:

  • Conduct post-event evaluations to determine success and areas for improvement.
  • Gather feedback from attendees, sponsors, and stakeholders to inform future events.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in event planning and management.
  • Proven track record of successfully planning and executing large-scale events, including expos, is a must
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.
