Director of Continuous Improvement

This role is focused on driving cost savings across 7 sites for a business unit with a large consumer products client.

The three main focuses of the Continuous Improvement Director position are:

Driving Improvements in Key Business Areas:

• The CI Director will create, direct, plan, coordinate, and execute continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on improving on-time delivery, quality, and production across the business.

Managing and Tracking Continuous Improvement Projects:

• The CI Director will ensure all departments have identified continuous improvement projects, manage and track these projects to ensure they are completed on time and within budget, facilitate these projects, validate results, and coordinate audits to ensure the sustainment of improvements.

Planning and Implementing Productivity Enhancements and Waste Reduction:

• The CI Director will plan productivity improvements, eliminate waste, and enhance technology utilization. This includes developing cost control standards, reducing waste, improving product quality to minimize defects and complaints, and maximizing manufacturing performance. Additionally, the CI Director will identify and implement new processes, methods, and procedures in collaboration with the business.
