Pennsylvania Rush is seeking a Director of Coaching (DOC) in Doylestown, Pennsylvania. We are looking for a DOC that is organized, motivated, task-oriented, and an excellent communicator. The position is extremely important to the long-term success of player development within our club.
This position requires an extensive soccer background. The DOC will be primarily responsible for the development of the teams they are overseeing, hiring the best coaches in the area and forming teams in the club and retaining youth soccer players. The DOC must be motivated and possess good player and parent management skills. He/she will coach teams in the club and assist in a variety of Programs and Services. The individual selected must have the requisite skills and personality to positively affect all players, parents, and coaches.
Qualifications
Minimum of U.S.S.F. National B License/C License
10 years of playing experience
7 years of coaching experience for a prestigious club
Regional staff experience
2 years of DOC experience
Ideally have experience in a Rush organization
Strong conflict resolution abilities
The DOC will report directly to the Technical Director. The DOC must be able to demonstrate the skills and techniques of soccer. He/she must be able to articulate and communicate the tactics. This position requires an outgoing personality with the ability to work with volunteers, players and parents. The Director must possess the desire to excel and strive to make the Rush Soccer Club the premier club in the Nation and Pennsylvania Rush Soccer Club the best club in Pennsylvania.
This is a full-time, salaried position.
