With over 31 years at School #60 in Raleigh, NC, Ms. E’s passion for children and families drives her every day, and she considers this work her true calling. Leading by example, she guides, listens, and remains hands-on, intentional, present, and passionate. She views each day as a new opportunity to make a positive impact, aiming to nurture a "tree" full of love and knowledge, helping everyone she meets to grow in some way. Ms. Alyson began her teaching career in 1992 at School #94 in Charlotte, NC in the Twos classroom. Today, she is the Lead Teacher in the Toddler classroom, but one thing that hasn’t changed is her profound dedication to the children she teaches. After three decades, Ms. Alyson remains inspired by the love and support of her students and their families. This commitment is exemplified by the support she received from her families during a challenging time—when she underwent knee surgery years ago, a parent volunteered to support her in the classroom. Ms. Alyson's school Director, Ms. Lindsay, expressed, "Ms. Alyson is an exceptional teacher who consistently fosters a safe and enriching learning environment.
