Spiras Health is a value-based, nurse practitioner led clinical provider of care-at-home and other health-related services to individuals with complex and polychronic needs. Spiras’ comprehensive approach to care delivery includes a combination of home-based services, telehealth, two-way digital communications, and remote patient monitoring. Qualifications

General Statement of Duties:

  • Lead Clinical colleagues (NP & Field Clinicians) to ensure all processes, policies, and protocols align with rules and regulations, including HITRUST® requirements as applicable.
  • National growth responsibility for new client expansion.
  • Ensure performance of the clinical market delivery team, including NPs and clinicians and others, aligns with defined metrics for clinical, process, and financial metrics.
  • Partners with Analytics and Reporting and supports SVP in measuring impact on process and outcomes for CQI opportunities.
  • Oversight for clinical model adherence and ensure exceptional patient care, consistently including but not limited to leading clinical grand rounds with CMO, quality audits, satisfaction survey results/ action plans in collaboration with Director, Clinical Quality & Excellence.
  • Evaluate for efficiency and make recommendations for administrative support changes including not limited to systems used for charting, phone triage as well as MA and scheduling assistance to support clinical team, on call process and protocols.
  • Provide oversight, guidance and direction on clinical matters and follow defined framework for evaluation, decision making, and documentation for clinical process change.
  • Ensure adherence to scheduling and availability standards, provide oversight of panels and adjust for growth, including staffing requirements to meet those needs.
  • Lead client clinical grand rounds with agenda and minutes on oversight of issues, barriers that may arise in clinical cases as well as contractual obligations.
  • Responsible for reporting clinical status in collaboration with SVP, Clinical Experience for both internal (MOR) and external (JOC) presentations.
  • Interview, hire, manage, develop, and retain clinical colleagues in conjunction with the Sr. Director, Colleague Experience
  • Participate in Clinical Innovation and evolution of clinical model, under direction of Chief Medical Officer and SVP of Clinical Experience
  • Demonstrates and models Spiras Health culture, holds team accountable to embody the desired Spiras Health culture.
  • Perform other duties as asked or required.


Knowledge/Skills Required:

  • Ability to collaborate with leadership teams to facilitate growth.
  • Strong clinical background, knowledge of chronic disease management
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills to lead, resolve conflict, and support change.
  • Effective analytical skills and the ability to exercise sound judgement when making decisions.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, ability to delegate and supervise effectively.
  • Detailed knowledge of healthcare policies and regulations
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite, Lucid chart, Smartsheet, eCW or clinical platform


Abilities Required:

  • Must be able to use standard office equipment (scanner, printer, copier, computer)
  • Must be able to lift 10-15 lbs. and be able to drive to homes or community locations if warranted to carry out responsibilities.
  • Must be able to talk/listen/sit for prolonged periods of time.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate in verbally and written form.


Minimum Education Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse Degree, but preferred Lc. Nurse Practitioner
  • Board Certified, Advanced Practice Nursing Degree, active license.
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare -related area


Minimum Experience Required:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Clinical Director or like leadership responsibilities
  • 10+ years’ experience as board certified Nurse Practitioner or Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work with data for CQI internal and external outcome reporting.


Necessary Requirements (e.g., license, certification):

  • RN or NP active license
  • Basic Life Support/CPR
