Our technology solutions are used to communicate and engage people in Medicaid and ACA enrollment.
Who You Are:
You have substantial experience in California with Medicaid enrollment via health plans. You have experience with health equity and engaging diverse people including the minorities, disabled and people living in rural areas.
You are a thinker, doer and a problem-solver. You are ready to lead a talented team to develop new solutions, owning and ensuring delivery of effective solutions for low-income people. You are passionate about health and supporting public sector agencies to deliver health and public health programs.
Top Priorities of Role:
Lead business development activities, such as responding to request for proposals (RFP), structuring solutions, client presentations
Maintain sales strategy and pipeline
Help clients define strategic vision and identify ideal partnership opportunities
Additional Responsibilities:
Maintain and expand current contracts and relationships
Write and edit proposals, contracts, and other marketing collateral
Manage laterally and upwards with colleagues in our product, engineering, and marketing teams to deliver an external client-facing technical proposal
Candidate Profile:
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
5+ years of experience in business development or sales with California health plans, county health agencies, or State health agencies
Sales experience in managing and expanding client accounts
Experience selling to government, hospitals or MCOs and guiding projects through the procurement processes
Experience in developing digital health communications strategies to engage diverse people
Understanding of mobile-messaging technologies (surveys, chatbots, SMS texting)
Experience working with technical teams to proposals and customer solutions
Excellent communication, problem solving and decision-making skills
Highly motivated, an independent self-starter
US Citizen or Legally Able to Work in the USA (we cannot sponsor visas at this time)
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience as Business Development at a Director level or above
Experience working on Medicaid eligibility and enrollment specific to health plans
Masters degree in public health or public administration

Compensation:
Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
Bonuses and/or Commission package potentially equal to or exceeding the base salary
Medical, Dental and Vision benefits, PTO, paid holidays, wellness days, work from home stipend
