As they continue to scale, they are seeking a dynamic Director of U.S. Government Business Development to shape and lead their government business strategy, including identifying new opportunities, managing relationships, and securing large-scale contracts within Federal, Civil, and Environmental agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Spearhead the growth of the U.S. government business, including strategy development, proposal delivery, and customer relationship management.
Drive strategic engagement, ensuring the retention and expansion of business with government accounts.
Proactively generate pipeline and revenue through networking, prospecting, and closing sales.
Collaborate with internal teams to inform and develop the company's Federal government strategy.
Manage the government contracting process and explore new partnership opportunities.
Key Requirements:
Proven track record prospecting and closing business within the Federal Government.
Experience within the Space sector.
Strong network within federal agencies.
Expertise in navigating complex proposal and contracting processes within government agencies.
Strong collaborator with internal stakeholders, driving business retention and expansion.
Ability to develop and execute detailed sales plans, forecast accurately, and manage opportunities.
