As they continue to scale, they are seeking a dynamic Director of U.S. Government Business Development to shape and lead their government business strategy, including identifying new opportunities, managing relationships, and securing large-scale contracts within Federal, Civil, and Environmental agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the growth of the U.S. government business, including strategy development, proposal delivery, and customer relationship management.
• Drive strategic engagement, ensuring the retention and expansion of business with government accounts.
• Proactively generate pipeline and revenue through networking, prospecting, and closing sales.
• Collaborate with internal teams to inform and develop the company's Federal government strategy.
• Manage the government contracting process and explore new partnership opportunities.

Key Requirements:

• Proven track record prospecting and closing business within the Federal Government.
• Experience within the Space sector.
• Strong network within federal agencies.
• Expertise in navigating complex proposal and contracting processes within government agencies.
• Strong collaborator with internal stakeholders, driving business retention and expansion.
• Ability to develop and execute detailed sales plans, forecast accurately, and manage opportunities.
