Director of Data Science - Full Time / Direct Hire - Hybrid in New York Metro Area

One of our longest standing clients is a private AdTech company that leverages data-driven online marketing strategies to acquire customers at massive scale. We are helping them find and hire their next Director of Data Science. This is a hybrid role in the NYC Metro Area and the candidate will need to commute to the North Bergen / Fort Lee, NJ area 2x per week or their satellite office in Downtown NYC. This person will lead the Data Science and Business Intelligence teams for the organization. If you are interested, please read on!

Role & Responsibilities:

• Understand and tackle production business problems through the application of analyses, designing and running experiments, and creating models to produce ongoing insights.
• Implement predictive targeting strategies and advise the business on reducing the risk of mis-spent resources
• Coach, mentor, and train members of the team along with hiring and onboarding
• Strong ability to work cross-functionally and gather requirements, explain results to technical and non-technical coworkers, and more.
• You should be someone that loves to put order to massive amounts of information and raw data and be able to draw significant findings from that data to help move the business forward

Technical Stack:

• Python, Numpy, Pandas, Jupyter Notebooks
• Snowflake, AWS (Redshift, Dynamo, RDS, Lambda, Athena)
• PostgreSQL, Linux
• Machine Learning, Algorithm Design, Data Modeling

Compensation & Perks:

• Competitive Annual Base Salary ($175,000 - $ 210,000 DOE)
• 15% - 20% Bonus Target
