#EmployeeSpotlight - Kairu Han "Building Momentum in Career and Connections" Reflecting on the 20th-anniversary trip, I believe the momentum I created centered around deepening our connection and celebrating our journey together. The trip was a testament to our commitment, allowing us to reminisce about cherished memories and create new ones. My biggest takeaway from the trip was the reaffirmation of the importance of making meaningful connections with not only your team but those outside of it as well. Throughout the 4 days we spent together, I witnessed how passionate everyone was about their work, sharing their stories and ideas from their journey here. It was inspiring to hear and made me think about how I can build off that momentum and contribute to that growing winning mindset. During this trip, I was also able to finally meet some of my team members who I’ve only had the chance to interact with through Zoom. It was really exciting to be able to talk to everyone in person, and I felt like we were able to strengthen our bond as a team while also getting to know each other a little better beyond the screen. Oftentimes, I would reach out to members of other teams for assistance, but it was hard to make a meaningful connection since we were speaking through a screen. Through this trip, being able to put faces to names made me feel more comfortable in encouraging those existing connections and excited to start new ones. Getting the opportunity to meet everyone face-to-face has empowered me to re-evaluate how I can set meaningful goals that contribute to my growth and momentum here, as well as make positive contributions to the growing success of GBR. Having heard the speeches Jeff and Brett gave, as well as several leaders in the company, I felt motivated by their determination and vision for the future of GBR. GBR's culture and values have significantly supported my career journey by emphasizing continuous growth and development through accessible training and mentorship opportunities. The company’s inclusive culture has broadened my perspectives and enhanced my ability to work effectively with different teams, creating a dynamic environment that has helped create and build momentum in my career. Additionally, integrating the principles of the Four Agreements into my professional life has helped me enhance communication, promote emotional resilience, foster clarity and collaboration, and drive personal and career growth. These principles provide me with a framework for navigating challenges, building positive relationships, and achieving success in my continuous journey here at GBR. All around, through the 20th-anniversary celebration, I felt incredibly lucky to have had the chance to make new connections as well as further develop some existing ones. I heard many amazing speeches and left feeling incredibly inspired and hopeful for what the future holds for GBR. Looking forward to meeting everyone again! #momentum
