We are hiring on behalf of a life sciences consulting services firm seeking a full-time Director Data Science to join their team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manipulating healthcare claims datasets and performing quantitative research.
Responsibilities
- Conduct claims-based analytics (HEOR, Market Basket Analysis etc) for clients
- Design and execute analyses on Medicare and Medicaid healthcare claims
- Produce deliverables and present findings to clients
- Manage a team of data analysts
Requirements
- Experience manipulating healthcare claims datasets.
- 7+ years of experience in SAS, SQL, STATA or SPSS.
- BA or MS in healthcare, economics, mathematics, or related field.
- Experience working in consulting, pharma or medical device firms.
- Experience in HEOR/ RWE claims analysis.
- Experience with the Virtual Research Data Center (VRDC).
- Understanding of healthcare policy issues related to Medicare/ Medicaid.
