Your Role

As the Director of Commercial Operations, you will proactively manage regional customer accounts, develop solution strategies, and maximize sales and profits. You will build strong relationships with clients, represent QuickSTAT at trade shows and events, and support the corporation’s strategy. Reporting to the VP of Commercial Operations, US, you will play a key role in driving account growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer accounts, relationships, and agreements regionally.
  • Create and execute high-level sales strategies with the account growth team.
  • Support client engagement through on-site meetings, reviewing deliverables, and participating in critical meetings.
  • Communicate with senior-level customers to assess satisfaction and manage accounts at risk.
  • Ensure effective allocation of resources for maximum profitability at tradeshows and events.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and industry changes, and develop response strategies.
  • Identify new revenue and margin opportunities.
  • Record all client interactions in the CRM system methodically.
  • Guide and mentor on-site representatives in business development.
  • Manage ongoing customer, commercial, platform engineering, and communication issues.
  • Develop business plans for each account, including sales growth, technology, market, competitive, and pricing strategies.
  • Develop yearly budgets to meet growth objectives.
  • Present and participate in quarterly business reviews and submit weekly reports on opportunities and meetings.
  • Coordinate global customer-based activities with other QIC/SCI sales organizations.

Your Skills And Experiences

  • 8+ years in the logistics industry, with extensive sales experience to CMOs, CROs, Central Labs, pharmaceutical, biotech, and personalized medicine companies.
  • Baccalaureate degree or equivalent work experience in logistics sales
  • Knowledge of Dangerous Goods/Restricted Article Regulations
