About the Role


This role is a strategic leader responsible for directing a team of account-dedicated clinical and non-clinical staff. They will oversee a disability and leave management program dedicated to one client.

They define, develop, implement, and lead all aspects of STD, Family Medical Leave, Company Leaves, and Medical Accommodations services to the client.


Responsibilities

  • Mentoring and inspiring colleagues & people leaders to exemplify our Values. Embraces Continuous Performance Management and ensures all colleagues have opportunity to learn and grow their careers.
  • Monitoring leading indicators, trends, and performance outcomes, and develops strategies to achieve optimal results. Partners with Account Management and the Reporting and Analytics Team to ensure key metrics are current.
  • Delivering exceptional cross-functional collaboration with key partners across the organization. Partner with Account Management, Leave Solutions CMO, and Program team to envision and implement promised results.
  • Managing relationship with Client, brokers / agencies, and account management team. Collaboration with internal partners including product, sales support, and analytics.
  • Serving as primary point of contact for client leadership team and holds a key role in meetings.
  • Directing operational changes on clinical case management strategies for unique scenarios. This may or may not trigger the need to revise our best practice protocols for client.
  • Providing close oversight of implementation of training of staff on instituting new protocols and ensures service adherence.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry trends in integrated disability and absence management.
  • Assessing and evaluating business/technology partners to integrate products on various platforms.
  • Managing departmental budget and planed effectively for responsible growth.
  • Executing performance management cycles. Establishing performance metrics with clear systems of measures and accountabilities that drive results.
  • Ensuring that an effective system of regulatory compliance and internal controls have been maintained.


Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor’s in nursing or similar health care field.
  • 5+ years of clinical health care experience.
  • 7+ years operations/service delivery experience within the absence, disability, benefits administration, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a senior clinical people leader role.
  • Demonstrate ability in developing and executing strategy, and in delivering operational excellence.
  • Possess a performance improvement mindset. Also, a proven ability to leverage data & analytics to drive decision making and process improvement.
  • Able to motivate and inspire teams, and to maintain excellent colleague engagement.
