Metric Bio have partnered with a fast growing organization preclinical CRO that are a global operating company with sites across Europe & the US, looking to hire their first Business Development Director in the US.
Our client is a Preclinical CRO who work closely with Pharma/Biotech companies across the global providing specialty Toxicity & Assay services
They are looking for an experienced Sales & Business Development individual to join them on the East Coast with the aim to build out a team underneath. This role will report directly to the CEO and will play a pivotal role in building the strategy for the growth of business in the US
Responsibilities:
Create & Execute Strategic plans to expand global outreach
Develop Pharma/Biotech & Nutritional client base in the US
Manage and close out end-to-end deals
Track & Plan business trends in the US market
Work closely with the CEO & Board to develop strategy & growth plan
Requirements:
Bachelors Degree in Life Science or a Life Science background
5 years + Sales & Business Development experience
Preclinical experience in the Toxicity is desirable
Proven successful sales experience in the Pharma services space
Travel requirement 10-25%
