Director, Application Team

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute global customer strategy.
  • Align and achieve Target Business Plan together with Sales by winning target business and substitute lost business by Opportunity business.
  • Monitor and assure profitability of all customer related projects over lifecycle – contribution margin focus.
  • Establish as key contact for customer's Engineering team and maintain close relationship.
  • Lead, develop and coach your Application Team to achieve maximum effectiveness and best-in-class results by making best use of available resources
  • Ensure effective communication within the project team and towards the organization.
  • Take full responsibility for the project results in terms of quality, cost and timing in all phases of the project from RFQ to EOP.
  • Solve development-related customer concerns (time, quality, cost) and support problem-solving of serial production quality issues.
  • Develop and work on innovation and global standardization projects in collaboration with Product Engineering.

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or another technical field.
  • Your strong project management know-how enables you to successfully execute customer projects over lifecycle
  • As an experienced team leader you know how to manage a technical team across different regions and cultures.
  • With your analytical thinking you are able to analyze and solve technical problems.
  • To ensure effective team performance you are proficient in conflict and change management and you bring strong communication skills.
  • Fluent English skills to collaborate with your international team colleagues complete your profile.
