About The Job

Louis Vuitton Americas is seeking a Digital Merchandising Manager to enhance online presence and amplify e-commerce growth throughout North and Latin America. You will craft captivating digital narratives and optimize our product offerings to elevate the Louis Vuitton experience online, driving sales across diverse categories. Working alongside our VP of Digital you will be instrumental in leading the overall digital e-commerce strategy.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Forge synergies between Digital and Category Merchandising teams to define sales objectives and tactical approaches.
  • Spearhead product launches within the LVA zone, ensuring seamless coordination of stock allocation, marketing tools, and initial sales analytics.
  • Conceive a strategic vision for LV.com's visual merchandising in collaboration with Category Merchandising teams.
  • Deliver incisive analyses of product traction and overall website commerce metrics.
  • Proactively participate in Paris HQ buying sessions to curate distinctive seasonal assortments for LVA Digital, including exclusive offers, pre-orders, and early release items.
  • In alliance with Merchandising, Digital Marketing, Data & Insights, and Supply Chain departments, champion Differentiated Selling by tracking sales against inventory levels—highlighting replenishment opportunities or proposing adjustments.

Optimization of Product Assortment:

  • Serve as the principal liaison for all zonal merchandising & supply chain engagement.
  • Uncover potential sales volume boosts by category; recommend enhancements to the product assortment.
  • Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain optimal stock levels for mainstay products, peak seasons, and specific client demands.

Insightful Performance Analysis:

  • Execute regular business reporting (weekly/monthly/on-demand) to shed light on performance strengths or gaps; provide strategic counsel for digital initiatives' enhancement.
  • Evaluate website analytics rigorously; propose action plans geared towards user experience improvements.

Strategic Localized Digital Direction & Implementation:

  • Interface with the Central e-Merch team to ensure localized execution aligns with overarching global strategies while securing flawless delivery of product assets.
  • Oversee local online launch strategies in concert with e-Merch teams; guarantee timely optimization of all new releases.
  • Maintain responsibility for everyday web updates through Content Management Systems across multiple regions (3 countries/4 locales/3 languages).

Cultivating Team Collaborations:

  • Lead campaign development during key commercial periods such as holidays or major launches.
  • Connect with Digital Performance team crafting sales projections & monitoring UX/e-Merchandise analytics closely.
  • Synchronize efforts with Digital Marketing on product-centric campaigns across email marketing, social media platforms, and paid search avenues.
  • Coordinate web content strategy including homepage features and dynamic presentations alongside the Digital Production team.
  • Represent digital merchandising interests when working with Client Services regarding product inquiries or issues.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Guide your direct reports' professional growth within an environment that values continuous learning and industry-leading practices' adoption.

Profile

Ideal candidates will possess a track record and experience in Digital Merchandising or Marketing and e-commerce specific to retail or luxury brands. Up-to-date knowledge of digital merchandising and storytelling. Outstanding communication prowess is essential, coupled with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Data Analytics, and Online Content Management Systems. We value creative minds with an entrepreneurial spirit capable of weaving compelling transversal narratives. You should be agile enough to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

The appointed candidate will be offered a salary within the range of USD $120,000-130,000 annually plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and two retirement plans both with employer contributions.

Additional information

The position requires 4 days per week on site in the Louis Vuitton Corporate Office, located in the heart of Midtown, Manhattan.
