Community Coffee proudly celebrates young heroes in our community! Louisiana Public Broadcasting / Louisiana Educational TV Authority's (LPB) Young Heroes program celebrates exceptional young people who have excelled in academics, given significantly of themselves through public service, overcome personal adversity, exhibited extraordinary heroism, or inspired others through their deeds and strength of character to become better students, persons, and citizens. Donna Saurage, Manager CCC Holding, participated in the program as a mentor to Anna Jusselin, an accomplished equestrian and a straight-A student with a knack for community service. You can learn more about Anna and each of the young heroes honored this year in the LPB production: Louisiana Young Heroes 2024 airing this evening at 8PM on LPB. #LouisianaYoungHeroes #CommunityCoffee #celebrateyoungheroes #LPB

“We want to honor the teachers for the work that they do across the state of Louisiana. We also want to elevate the profession. We do understand that the only way we’re going to continue to help our students grow and to make education better in Louisiana is to put more great teachers and great leaders in front of our students.” Wes Watts, Vice-Chair, Dream Teachers Help us find great teachers in your community by submitting nominations for the 2024 H.
