Job Description

  • Digital Media Operator performs Quality Control checks for high-profile pre-release features & library episodic assets
  • Ensure content is at the highest quality and to the correct spec
  • Ensure all Language, Subtitle, and Captioning files are in sync with video assets
  • The Digital Media Operator will review and validate all metadata associated with video assets
  • Transcode assets using automated hot folders using systems such as Vantage or Clipster
  • Use internal workflow tools to track and deliver content
  • Comprehensively track and manage a queue of work
  • Experience working with Closed Captions in Captionmaker or Iris
  • Familiarity with digital media file types -Quicktime, MXF, MPEG, MP4, etc.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in either a broadcast operations or post-production environment
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience with Quality Control
  • Must be willing to work in Los Angeles, CA
  • Must be willing to submit to a background investigation
  • Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the US
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Hybrid role, 3 days on-site at Universal City
