THIRTY (!) years ago today, I walked into WEEB-AM's studios in Fuquay-Varina, NC, and started my career as a broadcaster. The Durham Herald-Sun did a story in September 1994 about talk radio. They got a picture of me in action (and got *most* of my name right!). Many thanks to Steve Adams, owner of WEEB, for hiring an eager 15-year-old radio nerd back then. I'm indebted to SO MANY along the way who have helped me in this great industry! I'm grateful to start year 31 today here at WRAL -- living the dream!
