As the Digital Director at Employ, you will be responsible for improving site acquisition by defining the customer journey and optimizing for conversion. You will drive the digital strategy across our properties, ensuring a user-friendly and powerful online presence that attracts, engages, and converts visitors. Reporting to the VP, Brand marketing, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including digital strategy, website optimization, and data-driven experimentation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Digital Strategy: Developing comprehensive digital marketing strategies to improve site acquisition by defining the customer journey and optimizing for conversion. Collaborating with development team to execute strategy.
Optimized User Journey: Enhancing the user experience on the company’s website and digital platforms through optimization and personalization.
Web Content Strategy: Managing the creation and delivery of digital content across various channels, ensuring consistent messaging and branding in collaboration with Content team.
Web Analytics: Tracking site performance, interpreting data, and making data-driven decisions for optimization.
Cross-team Collaboration: Collaborating with other departments to integrate digital marketing with overall business strategies and initiatives.
Digital Innovation: Staying up-to-date with digital technology developments and leveraging new tools and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
External Relationships: Forging strategic partnerships and relationships with external SEO, content, and development agencies to enhance digital marketing efforts.
What You’ll Bring
Minimum of 12 years of full-time digital/web marketing experience defining strategy in a B2B environment.
Deep experience with web analytics tools including Google Analytics, web forecasting models, heatmaps, scroll maps .
Experience owning and growing multiple digital properties.
Ability to grasp, technology-speak, acting as spokesperson and lead on the team on behalf of the development team.
Experience in WordPress, and ability to build strategy/roadmap around a unified CMS.
Experience working in agile practices/methodologies.
Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with multiple stakeholders in a team-based environment.
Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects systematically to establish priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills briefing teams and senior leadership on business impact.
A team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
