As the Data Analytics Manager, you'll work as part of a cross line of services team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. A career in our Technology Advisors practice will provide you with the opportunity to help organizations develop strategies and navigate them through complex decisions by leveraging their data into actionable business insights.

Schneider Downs has embraced the hybrid work model, so this role will have flexibility working from home, as well as in the office. What You’ll Do

• Interacting with clients on a consultative basis to understand their business needs and recommend strategic solutions that are outcomes-focused and user-friendly
• Leveraging industry best practices to…
• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain efficient and effective data modeling and pipeline architecture (ETL, ELT)
• Design, configure, deploy, and maintain user-friendly data visualizations, reports, and dashboards
• Ensure dashboards, visualizations, and reports are aligned with business strategy and support analytic requirements
• Management of client and internal workspaces, deployment strategies, and Power BI service administration
• Providing direction/guidance to Data Analytics team members
• Providing project and team member updates to Data Analytics Senior Management
• Working collaboratively with Data Analytics Senior Management and other SD Technology Advisors service line leaders
• Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
  
  
  

What You’ll Need

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Business Management, Information Systems Management, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in data analytics management, including team members
• Experience using data analytics and visualization tools, including Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and an understanding of data modeling best practices:
• Expertise with making DAX queries and measures in Power BI desktop
• Expertise in M Query and/or Power Query
• Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and architecture designs
  
  
  

Preferred:

• Expertise with Excel, SQL, SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services
• Experience with Solver Cloud (previously known as “BI360”) or other similar Corporate Performance Management (“CPM”) and/or Enterprise Performance Management (“EPM”) solutions (e.g., datarails, Anaplan, Board, Vena, Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics)
• Experience with Data Flows for Power BI data preparation
• Experience designing analytics using Human Centered Design Methods
• Experience building and deploying analytics in an Agile environment
• Experience using DevOps for management of project engagements
