Customs & International Trade Manager – Permanant – Raleigh, NC – $114,400 - $156,500
The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking a Customs & International Trade Manager in Raleigh, NC.
Role Description
• Manage specific customs topics such as Duty Drawback, TIB procedures, HTS classification, customs valuation, FTA’s and TRQ’s.
• Responsible for the accuracy of import and export declarations, considering classification, valuation and origin optimization.
• Manage first sale reporting, TRQ’s and TIB imports and be responsible for the filling of timely and accurate reconciliation returns for consumption and TIB import entries.
• Create and maintain the customs part of the indirect tax compliance manual.
• Stay current on import and export regulations and inform the business on relevant changes in the field of customs & international trade.
• Be accountable and open about successes and failures

Skills & Requirements
• Bachelor's in Accounting or equivalent
• More than 7 years experience with customs & trade compliance
• Experience with Federal excise taxes is a plus
• Skilled in financial applications (SAP and MS Excel)
• Fluency in English with excellent written and oral skills.
