Position Summary

MiLa is seeking a talented and strategic-minded full-time Creative Strategist to join the marketing team to drive the development and execution of creative strategies that deliver measurable results for performance marketing across digital channels. This individual will report directly to the Head of Brand & Creative Director and will play a critical role in creating and optimizing performance marketing campaigns that drive conversions, engagement and brand awareness. This role is an exciting opportunity for anyone who’s creative and data driven and is looking to make a significant impact on the growth of the brand. This is a remote position, you will be required to travel once a quarter to Seattle, WA headquarters.

You Will

  • Own the paid creative asset engine by leading creative brainstorming sessions and developing an ongoing pipeline of concepts that resonate with target audiences, drive user engagement and generates measurable results and ROI
  • Deliver comprehensive creative briefs for paid ads
  • Responsible for taking concepts from ideation through execution
  • Responsible for delivering strong copy in the form of scripts, taglines, and hooks for Meta ads
  • Develop systematic approach to ensuring we are delivering on a wide range of brand value props in the ad assortment
  • Partner with video editors, graphic designers, content creators and growth team on executing strong ad concepts that deliver strong performance
  • Collaborate with channel owners on A/B testing and optimizing messaging across different audiences including lifecycle and paid ads
  • Partner with other members of the marketing team on competitive market research for new product launches
  • Uncovering and understanding different customer segments for paid channels for testing
  • Responsible for enforcing tone of voice in all owned channels including social, email, paid, Google search and blog articles
  • Responsible for delivering on-brand and compelling copy across all marketing materials/channels
  • Collaborate with members of the marketing team to develop innovative strategies that are aligned with brand and marketing objectives

  • Proven track record in performance marketing specifically on Meta
  • Strong copywriting skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Highly motivated self starter and team player
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-pace agile environment


You Need

  • 5+ years of experience in creative strategy, marketing, communications and copywriting
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, or related field
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of creative assets executed for paid advertising


What Success Looks Like

By the end of 30 days

  • Established process for creative pipeline
  • 5-6 completed creative briefs that have been shared with creators for execution

By the end of 60 days

  • Craft robust creative testing roadmap
  • Partner w/ brand team to build roster of content creators to increase creative throughput/wins and brand affinity
  • Develop measurement system to understand successes, build on wins and learn from misses (including reporting structure to memorialize and share learnings across the org)
  • Achieve 2-3 successes on Meta based on creative ideas (measured by top 20% spending asset in the account)

By end of 90 days

  • Achieve 5-7 successes on Meta based on creative ideas (measured by top 20% spending asset in the account)
