Creative Content and Social Project Manager

MTP, Inc is searching for a Senior Creative Content and Social Project Manager on a full-time basis.


Role Summary:

We are looking for a Creative content and Social Producer to help streamline and develop creative content for both our online platform and in social.  Internally, you’ll work across functions including Brand, Culture & Trends, Social and PR to help the team deliver best in class content. Externally, you’ll work with production companies, agency partners, and creators. Your brilliant creative production and execution skills will help you navigate complex internal and external challenges and stakeholders. We’re looking for someone with an impeccable creative eye for detail, strong communication skills and experience developing and making video and social content.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Streamline and refine creative production planning by creating efficient processes across Brand, Culture & Trends, Social, and PR.
  • Develop and maintain a cross-functional calendar for VODs, shorts and social content that gives teams real-time visibility into production schedules, launches and more.
  • Work with Brand leads to maintain detailed financial tracking and reporting of marketing expenses.
  • Review and negotiate agency bids across all projects.
  • Liaise with legal to make sure all SOWs are executed correctly and efficiently.
  • Coordinate weekly x-functional status meetings, providing daily and weekly AIs to meet project timeline/goals.
  • Facilitate leadership check-ins at key project intervals to gain feedback/approvals in a timely manner and create weekly snapshot updates on all marketing activity.
  • Research new creative partners, talent opportunities and content production paths that support brand initiatives
  • Oversee the planning, production, and delivery of all video projects, from concept development to post-production.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop creative and strategic video content that aligns with the company's overall marketing goals.
  • Ensure that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies in video production.


What you Contribute:

  • BA/BS degree required with a strong academic record.
  • 8 or more years of creative production experience (including online content platforms and social content)
  • Industry expertise: Ability to develop rich relationships internally and externally, with a fervor for entertainment and pop culture and deep experience in marketing and/or production.
  • Strong communication & people skills: Clear communicator, with a proven history of collaborative partnerships with agencies, creative partners, talent, and a passion for people.
  • Project management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and autonomously in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • 5+ years’ experience with social media and user generated content.
  • Creative Agency Experience a plus.
  • Experience creating content from various sources to optimize across unique social strategies to drive engagement, audience acquisition and a shared voice.
  • Have a passion and interest for online content and social. 
  • Be obsessed with trends and internet culture.
  • Have knowledge of GenZ interests and trends.

  • Ability to establish and manage timelines effectively and proven excellence in driving xfn initiatives from strategy to execution.
  • Experience managing external creative agencies & vendors, managing international projects, and managing budgets.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity: strong capability to execute quickly with limited guidance and manage large working groups independently.
  • Ability to solve logistical and technical problems including staffing, creative strategy, production logistics and media planning.
  • A deep understanding of the social media and marketing industry.
  • High level of creativity to develop compelling and memorable content.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality.
  • Owning social media distribution strategies including content distribution across all channels/platforms.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving, and business skills.
  • Experience with the ins and outs of Partner Management.
  • Innate problem solving and creative content development skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement imaginative solutions to help businesses increase brand awareness, showcase products/services along with increasing profits.
  • Understanding and ability to track analytics for social media campaigns, creating social media schedules and writing captions for social media posts.
  • Technical Writing skills: research, detail oriented, search engine optimization and concise editing.

  • Must be available to work hours as necessary as dictated by prevailing work volumes including mandatory weekends when and if needed, with advance notice.
