How To Make The Team

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Payroll Coordinator to join our team. The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees. This role requires strong organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.

Show Us You Can

  • Process payroll accurately and on time using our payroll software, ADP
  • Verify and reconcile timesheets and attendance records
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and guidelines
  • Manage payroll inquiries from employees regarding paychecks, deductions, and taxes
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports as needed
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and payroll information
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information

Your Training & Talent

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Specialist, or similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll principles and practices
  • Proficiency in payroll software and MS Office (especially Excel)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Diligence and accuracy

Where You’ll Go

  • The New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY, as well as Manhattan. You will be in the office 2-3 days per week.
