Job Opportunity: Accounting Controller with ERP Implementation Expertise

We are seeking a talented Accounting Controller with expertise in ERP implementation and perpetual inventory management to join our team.
Position Overview: Controller (will become President after a few years)
Responsibilities: As the Accounting Controller, you will oversee all aspects of financial management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
Managing day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting.
Leading the implementation of an ERP system, streamlining processes, and enhancing data accuracy and visibility.
Overseeing perpetual inventory management, including tracking inventory levels, analyzing trends, and optimizing inventory turnover.
Developing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and achieve business objectives.
Providing strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support decision-making.
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience; food manufacturing industry exp a huge plus.
Proven track record of successfully implementing ERP systems, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Must have small business experience (ideally less than 40 people)
Extensive experience with perpetual inventory management and inventory control best practices.
Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting requirements.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
