Ferretti Search is actively seeking a seasoned Controller to oversee financial operations within the manufacturing industry. In this pivotal role, you will lead the accounting team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support the organization's success.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Develop and implement financial strategies to optimize profitability and operational efficiency.

Financial Reporting:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide regular financial reports and insights to senior management to support decision-making and strategic planning.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Lead the annual budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to develop realistic and achievable financial targets.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions as needed.

Internal Controls:

• Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of control procedures and implement improvements as necessary.

Team Leadership:

• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and support to foster professional growth and development.
• Cultivate a collaborative and high-performance work culture, promoting teamwork and accountability.

Vendor Management:

• Oversee vendor relationships, including negotiations, contracts, and payments, to ensure cost-effective and efficient procurement processes.

Audit Management:

• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors to facilitate the audit process, ensuring timely and accurate provision of information and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or mix of education and work experience.
• Extensive experience in accounting and financial management roles within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments.
• Analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
