Job Description:
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the rehabilitation nursing department.
Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure high-quality patient care.
Supervise and mentor nursing staff, providing guidance and support for professional development.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and rehabilitation programs.
Monitor patient outcomes and ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines.
Manage department budgets, staffing, and resources efficiently.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting team cohesion and staff engagement.
Conduct performance evaluations and implement improvement plans as necessary.
Education And Certification Requirements:
Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a rehabilitation nursing leadership role.
Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN) preferred.
BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
