Job Title: Consultant (Market Research)

Location: Newark, NJ (open to fully remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a qualified Market Data Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with various market data vendors and possess strong contract negotiation and renewal skills. They will also serve as a liaison between business, legal, and other teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

• Manage relationships with market data vendors, including contract negotiations, renewals, and vendor performance evaluations.
• Track market data inventory using FITZ or Spend, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
• Communicate updates and changes regarding market data to the team, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned.
• Analyze market data for insights and trends, providing valuable information to stakeholders.
• Serve as a liaison between business, legal, and other teams, facilitating collaboration and resolving any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

• Experience with market data vendors required, with flexibility regarding vendors.
• Familiarity with FITZ or Spend for inventory tracking preferred.
• Strong contract negotiation and renewal skills are essential.
• Proficiency in communicating updates to the team required.
• Candidates with market data analysis skills preferred.
• Ability to serve as a liaison between business, legal, and other teams.
• Local candidates preferred, with availability to work in-office at least one day per week. Remote work options available for out-of-state candidates.

Industry Background:

• Open to candidates from financial services, investment, or banking backgrounds with market data vendor experience.
• Candidates from non-finance backgrounds will not be considered; financial industry experience is essential.
