Commercial Compliance Manager

A fast-growing super-regional consumer banking client of ours is looking to hire a Vice President of Consumer Compliance to their growing team.

The role is fully remote, unless the candidate is located within the firm's footprint cities (hybrid).

Role / Responsibilities:

• Deep familiarity with federal and state laws, rules and regulations as they relate to commercial lines of business (LOB) within a consumer bank
• Serve as the compliance subject matter expert (SME) and primary advisor to the commercial LOB on all compliance-related matters and inquiries
• Manage compliance risks in regards to new products and processes as it relates to the Commercial LOB
• Provide support and interpret Commercial enterprise and industry-wide regulations, policies and procedures
• Develop compliance policies and procedures for the Commercial LOBs
• Support in Compliance Risk Assessment processes and Risk and Compliance Self Assessments (RCSAs)
• Determine and understand requirements for new and developing laws, rules and regulations for various changes and areas that need to be implemented
• Proactively anticipate areas of regulatory focus, assess these potential impacts and communicate these impacts to Commercial LOB leadership
• Remediate issues in a timely matter when identified ex: internal audit issues
• Ensure responses and requests, both internal and external, are submitted accurately and in a timely manner
