As the Clinical Services Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing critical donor processes, ensuring compliance with ethical and regulatory standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop: Mentor and develop the Clinical Services team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee Donor Processes: Manage referral response, donor management, and organ allocation, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements (OPTN, CMS, FDA, CDC).
  • Strategic Scheduling: Develop comprehensive schedules to maintain optimal staffing levels and accommodate training and PTO requests.
  • Manage Corrective Actions: Collaborate on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and Preventive Action Reports (PAR), ensuring thorough analysis, effective solutions, and monitoring.
  • Policy Development: Develop and update policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and communicate them effectively to relevant staff.
  • Hiring and Collaboration: Support the hiring process by participating in interviews for new Clinical Coordinators and Referral Management Coordinators and build strong relationships with hospital partners.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive workflow improvements, evaluate and implement new technologies, and ensure seamless integration across departments.
  • Training and Development: Collaborate with the Clinical Educator to develop training programs and mentor team members in advanced principles and procedures.

  • Leadership: Strong leadership skills to effectively lead, mentor, and develop team members.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements (OPTN, CMS, FDA, CDC) and ethical standards.
  • Relationship Building: Excellent relationship-building skills to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with hospital partners and other relevant entities.
  • Ethics and Integrity: Strong ethical and moral foundations necessary for handling sensitive information.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of effectively articulating insights and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Problem Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to handle reporting, documentation, and investigation of complaints, injuries, and process deviations.
  • Continuous Learning: Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Skill in building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at various levels, collaborating to gather requirements, address concerns, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, Nursing, or related field preferred.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse or a minimum of 5+ years of Organ Procurement experience.
  • Certified Procurement Transplant Coordinator (CPTC) required or must be obtained within the first available testing cycle.
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and leading effective teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal auto insurance.
