TITLE: Clinical Lab Technologist

LOCATION: Rochester, MN (Onsite)

STATUS: Full-Time – Extension and conversions based on performance

SCHEDULE: 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift. May require weekend rotation.

PAY RANGE: $20 - $27 per hour DOQ.

This is the pay range that BAHAMA Consulting reasonably expects to pay someone for this position.

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt (Overtime paid at 1.5X regular rate of pay)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The individuals in these positions will analyze samples and research. They will not procure the sample but will analyze and test them in a laboratory environment.
• Performs analyses on blood, tissue, and body fluids to aid health care providers in the diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of patients.
• Testing is performed in specialized laboratories and may include highly skilled manual techniques or automated testing using sophisticated instrumentation.
• Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation and assay systems is desirable.
• Must be capable of producing accurate results under time constraints, multi-tasking, and performing in a fast-paced and changing environment.
• Must possess good communication skills and be able to work closely with others.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a human biological science is required.
• Official or unofficial transcripts are required at the time of submission.
