Clinical Intake Operations Manager

Home and clinical infusion services organization is searching for a Clinical Intake Operations Manager.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial assessments to determine patient eligibility
• Collect medical histories and personal details of new patients
• Maintain and update records for existing patients
• Review documents for accuracy and completeness
• Prepare paperwork for new patients
• Assist with billing as necessary
• Verify medical benefits as directed
• Ensure cost-effective operations
• Enhance operational systems and practices
• Manage inventory and oversee warehouse efficiency
• Ensure compliance with legal requirements
• Develop strategic and operational goals
• Analyze financial data to improve profitability
• Manage budgets and forecasts
• Perform quality control and monitor KPIs
• Recruit, train, and supervise staff
• Enhance customer service quality

Qualifications:

• Experience with medical benefits verification
• Knowledge of deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, and coinsurance
• Basic math skills
• Experience with prior authorization (preferred)
• Experience with Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) claims (preferred)
• Pharmacy technician experience (preferred)
• Proven experience as an Operations Manager or similar role
• Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
• Budgeting and forecasting experience
• Familiarity with pharmacy business and financial principles
