Roles And Responsibilities
- Cybersecurity Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

- Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, procedures, and best practices across the organization.
- Security Operations and Incident Response:
- Oversee day-to-day security operations, including monitoring and managing security infrastructure and systems.
- Lead incident response efforts to investigate and mitigate security breaches, ensuring timely resolution and recovery.
- Implement and maintain security controls, technologies, and tools to detect and prevent unauthorized access and threats.
- Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity regulations, standards, and industry best practices (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
- Conduct regular security audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of security controls and identify areas for improvement.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to address security and privacy concerns.
- Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and deliver security awareness programs and training sessions for employees to promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness.
- Educate and empower employees to recognize and respond to security threats and incidents effectively.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Build and lead a high-performing cybersecurity team, including security analysts, engineers, and incident responders.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive approach to cybersecurity within the organization.
- Proven experience as a CSO, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), or senior cybersecurity leadership role.
- Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity principles, practices, technologies, and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to cybersecurity.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make strategic decisions under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are preferred.
