Position Summary
As a member of our team, you will take on the role of Chief Nursing Officer (CNO) to provide strategic leadership overseeing all nursing and patient care services within our organization. Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practices at a facility level. This challenging role demands 24/7 accountability to ensure high-quality, safe patient care, clinical staff competency, and effective resource management. Additionally, you will represent nursing interests at executive meetings and foster a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
Recruit, retain, and develop nursing talent through strategic planning.
Collaborate with HR and other departments to enhance work-life balance programs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote a culture of safety.
Lead performance improvement initiatives and monitor quality metrics.
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Drive organizational success through effective financial management and strategic planning.
Support the adoption of electronic medical records (EMR) and other technological advancements.
Promote a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the nursing workforce.
Qualifications
Minimum five years of progressive management experience as a Chief Nursing Officer or similar role in a healthcare setting.
Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or related field.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in [state].
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of operational excellence and staff development.
