We are excited to introduce our #MeetTheTeamMonday, Rebekah Kennedy. Rebekah Kennedy studied Interior Design at the Art Institute and since 2019 has worked at Woodlawn. She is now working in Patient Access and registering the many patients that walk through the doors. When asked what her favorite thing about Woodlawn is, she said, “The night shift is one big family. We always have each other’s backs, no matter the department.” In her specialty, “You never know what you are going to see.” Rebekah and the department she works in are the first people you see when you walk through the doors at Woodlawn. Rebekah loves doing crafts, such as building miniatures, diamond paintings, and creating things for her animals. #PatientAccess #WoodlawnHealth

It's time for #MeetTheTeamMonday! Melinda Gregory graduated from Caston High School and since 2000 has worked at Woodlawn. She is now working in the Inpatient Pharmacy as a Pharmacy Technician. ”I adore that Woodlawn is close to my home. Having been a patient here myself over the years before being employed; I have always appreciated what we have to offer people for a small-town. We are an extremely clean facility who continues to strive to meet the goals of the community and grow as necessary. I was born here at Woodlawn. Raised on a farm in Rural Fulton County and currently live close to where I grew up,” she said. When asked what her favorite thing about her specialty is, she responded, “Being a helper to patients behind the scenes. Learning new information about medications, chemotherapy regimens etc. Mixing IVs to help patients feel relief from whatever ails them. I enjoy my co-workers who embrace teaching me new things and we make time for a giggle break too!” Melinda and her husband enjoy antiquing, specifically Farm Junk and Farmhouse Kitchen items, then repurposing these items. Melinda and her husband resell these items, it’s their favorite hobby because they get to spend quality time together. Other activities she enjoys are walking the dogs, gardening, playing outside with the kids, and sitting on her front porch. #PharmacyTechnician #WoodlawnHealth

Aryn Bowser attended Purdue North Central in Westville, Indiana for her Associate Degree and became a Registered Nurse in 2002. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021 at Indiana Wesleyan and started working at Woodlawn in 2022, in which she is now a Wellness Coordinator. “I love the small town, family-like culture at Woodlawn. We are blessed to care for our neighbors, family, and friends,” she said. When asked what she loves about being in corporate wellness, she responded, “Corporate wellness keeps me motivated because it is proactive and serves the hardworking men and women in our area. These people drive our community's financial success by providing goods and services that generate money for Fulton County. I am honored to provide labs, hearing testing, CPR certification, and health education for this group!” Aryn enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown kids, and her loving family. When not doing that, she likes to hunt, garden, float the river, and tend to her many farm animals. #WellnessCoordinator #Rochester #WoodlawnHealth
