Job Summary
In this role as the Chief Medical Officer and Senior Associate Dean for Maternal and Child Health, you will have a crucial part in steering the strategic leadership and vision of our Maternal and Child Health programs. Reporting to the President and Chief Executive Officer, your responsibilities will include overseeing the integration and expansion of clinical programs organization-wide.
Key Responsibilities
Lead strategic planning and program development to enhance growth and sustainability of our Maternal and Child Health Enterprise.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure exceptional patient care and contribute to the education of future physician leaders.
Act as a liaison between academic institutions and our organization, advocating for academic priorities and faculty retention.
Oversee regulatory compliance and quality improvement initiatives to uphold our clinical excellence.
Partner with stakeholders to advance health equity initiatives and diminish healthcare disparities in our community.
Provide leadership in clinical program development, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry best practices.
Support Graduate Medical Education initiatives to maintain the highest standards of education and care.
Minimum Qualifications
MD degree or equivalent, with eligibility for appointment as an Associate or Full Professor at a university.
Advanced degree in health care administration, business administration, or public health preferred.
Extensive experience as a physician leader within a complex healthcare system, emphasizing quality improvement and clinical excellence.
Current Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) licensure.
Skills And Abilities
Demonstrated ability to lead innovative initiatives in pediatric research, education, and clinical care.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of healthcare payment methodologies.
Strategic thinker with a profound grasp of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills with the capability to convey complex strategies and goals effectively.
