Primary Purpose of the Job

Collaborate closely with the Executive Leadership team to achieve financial targets and enhance enterprise value through organic growth and strategic acquisitions. Oversee financial planning & analysis, accounting, internal controls, budgeting & forecasting, financial performance measurement, cash flow management, and tax strategies. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead the Finance and Accounting department in aligning financial strategies with company objectives.

Lead and develop team members, ensuring their success and supporting their professional growth.

Essential Duties

  • Partner with the CEO and Executive Leadership to establish long-term strategic and financial plans.
  • Drive financial decision-making by providing accurate and timely analysis to support leadership.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure robust financial controls and accurate reporting.
  • Manage financial reporting to the Executive Leadership Team and Board.
  • Oversee external audits and serve as the primary contact for auditors.
  • Manage cash flow and investments to maintain financial stability.
  • Develop and maintain departmental budgets in collaboration with department leaders.
  • Set goals and KPIs for the Finance and Accounting team aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead the Finance and Accounting team, fostering a culture of high performance and development.
  • Support due diligence efforts for mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Implement modern financial systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with external stakeholders and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Lead special projects and initiatives as assigned by the CEO.

Required Education And Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in financial management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel, up to 20% of the time, may be required.

Physical and Mental Demands

  • Ability to work in a remote setting.
  • Comfortable with occasional lifting and prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
