May's Private Equity Insights Dashboard is now available! The mid-market #PrivateEquity space saw a MoM decrease in total disclosed deal volume, with 70% of deals in the $10M- $100M range. The B2B sector took the lead, accounting for approximately 38% of total investments. Add-on activity plays a significant part of the overall deal volume, driven by the consolidation of fragmented markets and enhancing returns through operational improvements. We are seeing longer deal cycles and, within our clients, a growing interest in corporate development roles, who increasingly seek our guidance throughout the transaction lifecycle. This trend could suggest that 2025 may see a surge in activity as interest rates decrease.
