Chief Executive Officer

The CEO we look for will make sure that the company’s culture is perfectly aligned with the company´s vision, mission, and values. The CEO will be required to engage with a broad range of stakeholders including but not limited to business, industry and community stakeholders, organisation and committee representatives, media, local, state and federal government representatives and staff on a wide range of issues, challenges and opportunities facing rural communities.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the CEO will be responsible to oversee all aspects of business performance, staffing, and operational matters to deliver growth, profit targets in a safe and sustainable manner.

Sustainable Growth and Profitability strategies. Development of the company’s short- and long-term strategy.

Responsibilities

• Take lead across all aspects of the company by reviewing how departments work together
• Make key decisions that will affect the company's direction
• Build a positive and productive culture in the workplace
• Develop strategies to improve overall quality, efficiency and productivity
• Grow seafood production and sales

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least 7+ years of organizational leadership experience within the seafood sector, preferably aquaculture.
• Strong leadership, decision making and communication skills
