Job Purpose
Alpine Air is currently seeking a Charter Coordinator to be located at their Provo, UT company site. The Charter Coordinator will be responsible for tracking company aircrafts during 24 hour cargo operations across the United States.
Duties And Responsibilities
The selected applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:
Bidding for charter/ad-hoc routes with various customers
Tracking airplane takeoff and landing times; monitor aircraft in flight using software tools
Enhance safety of pilots by monitoring flights to ensure safe arrivals
Fielding communication from pilots
Logging flight information
Entering flight information into flight following database, FlightDocs
Observe safety and FAA regulations
Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
Aviation experience is preferred
Sales experience is preferred
Required to pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
Excellent computer skills including inputting data into Excel spreadsheets and using Air Traffic Control software to monitor flights
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Be a reliable team player, reporting for work on time and ready to assist co-workers
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Working conditions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, and heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually low.
This position is a Full-Time, in-office position. Schedules are based on operational needs and may include nights and/or weekends. Compensation includes competitive benefits and 401k with generous employer match. Paid Time Off and eleven (11) paid holidays per year are available immediately upon employment.
