Essential Job Duties

The objective of the Account Executive is simple - to bring new business to BambooHR. But this is not your run-of-the-mill sales job. As a Channel Account Executive, you'll be working with prospective partners and their clients to educate them on the BambooHR platform. By building a relationship with these HR professionals, department leaders, and even executive leaders, you'll get the opportunity to really set people free to do great work. You'll do this by showing the potential ROI BambooHR can provide for their businesses, which will result in converting prospective clients into new clients while supporting our referral/channel partners. We have a proven process for successful B2B SaaS selling, and you'll find that our sales culture is unique (in a good way).

Your daily responsibilities include:

  • Identify and qualify SMB prospects by phone and email.
  • Manage leads sent over from the SDR team and from referral partners.
  • Effectively work with referral/channel partners to progress and close the leads they submit.
  • No travel necessary! Sales are conducted via web conference and phone.
  • No nights or weekends! The schedule is full-time, Monday-Friday.

What You Need to Get the Job Done:

  • Proven track record of exceeding expectations as an account executive.
  • A desire to have a successful career in sales.
  • Ability to articulate our value proposition to SMB via webinars, online demos, phone, and email.
  • Demonstrated collaboration and negotiation skills.
  • Great attitude, self-motivated, and a passion for growth.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to adhere to Tuesday- Thursday in the office hybrid work model.

What Will Make Us REALLY Love you

  • 2+ years of SaaS Account Executive experience (experience selling within the partner space is a plus).
  • You have an eye for detail.

  • You have sales knowledge that you can bring to the table.
