Trusted Staffe is currently seeking a Cath Lab Technologist on behalf of our partner, a reputable regional medical center in Lewiston, ID. The ideal candidate will be proficient in diagnostic and interventional procedures within a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory setting. Experience in digital and cine imaging and archiving is required.
Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in accordance with department protocols and physician directives.
Operate X-ray equipment proficiently during procedures.
Monitor patients and assist physicians during catheterization procedures.
Scrub into procedures as required, maintaining sterile technique.
Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the catheterization laboratory and equipment.
Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient records.
Qualifications
Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT), Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional procedures in a cardiac and/or general catheterization laboratory.
Proficiency in digital and cine imaging and archiving.
Strong understanding of X-ray equipment operation.
Ability to monitor patients effectively during procedures.
