Cath Lab Radiology Technologist - Short Term Agreement

Departmental Overview

Five new Cardiac Cath Lab procedure rooms, nine Cardiologist with seven being interventionist. Current hours of operation are 0630 to 1900. On-call one night per week and every 5th weekend. Located in the newly constructed Norman Regional Hospital (Healthplex campus) on the second floor.

Job Summary

Assist with a variety of highly specialized procedures in the Cath Lab. Assists with preparation of the patient, maintaining sterile environment during procedures, and monitoring.

Qualifications

American Registry of Radiologic Technology Registered and/or RCIS. Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) certification preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained thru re-training for duration of employment. ACLS training must be achieved within 6 months of hire and maintained through duration of employment.
