Catering and Events Manager
Belfair POA is seeking a dynamic and experienced Catering and Events Manager. The Catering & Events Manager will report directly to the Food and Beverage Director and collaborate closely with the entire Food & Beverage Team to execute all events, ensuring they exceed member and guest expectations. Working hand in hand with the Manager of Event Sales & Operations, they will strive to provide an exceptional experience while meeting the club’s goals and standards.
The ideal candidate will be hospitality-minded, an exceptional communicator, sales-oriented, and possess a positive 'whatever-it-takes' attitude. This role demands an exceptionally strong attention to detail, the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks, and effective communication and collaboration with a cross-functional team.
Key Responsibilities:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience (3+ years) as an Event Manager or similar role. Demonstrated success in planning and executing large-scale events, especially high-end weddings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate events with close attention to the overall calendar and available resources.
- Develop comprehensive event plans outlining timelines, budgets, and required resources.
- Collaborate with members and guests to understand event objectives and requirements.
- Research and select appropriate venue spaces, ensuring they meet event needs.
- Facilitate weekly BEO meetings with staff to ensure information is communicated to all departments in a timely manner.
- Work closely with the Banqueting department to develop suitable menus and beverage offerings.
- Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for all event services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with members and guests to provide exceptional customer service and ensure client satisfaction throughout the event planning process.
- Conduct post-event evaluations and gather feedback to improve future events.
- Work closely with the Marketing and Communications Director to promote events timely to maximize attendance and engagement.
- Prepare and manage event budgets, including all expenses and labor.
- Monitor financial performance and provide regular budget updates to leadership.
- Foster a collaborative working environment and promote teamwork.
